Professor Andrew Burton-Jones

Keynote Topic: Changing the Conversation on Evaluating Digital Transformation in Healthcare
Andrew Burton-Jones is Professor at Business School, The University of Queensland. He graduated from UQ's Commerce program in 1998 and worked for several years in IT risk management for one of the Big-4 accounting/consulting firms. He worked as a tenured Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, for seven years. He returned to UQ in 2012. His research focuses on information systems design and effective use, and healthcare management etc. He has published more than 90 papers or articles in the international academic journals of information systems and served on the editorial boards of the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, and other outlets. He recently completed a term as Representative for the Americas for the Association of Information Systems and commenced a term as International Representative for the Academy of Management (OCIS Division).

Huigang Liang is Professor and FedEx Chair of Excellence in MIS of Business Information and Technology Department at The University of Memphis. He received his M.S. degree in computer science and his Ph.D. degree in healthcare information systems from Auburn University, in 2002 and 2003, respectively. His research interests include socio-behavioral, managerial, and strategic information technology issues at both individual and organizational levels in a variety of contexts. His work has appeared in MIS Quarterly (MISQ), Information Systems Research (ISR), Journal of MIS, Journal of AIS, MIT Sloan Management Review, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, Information Systems Journal, and Journal of Strategic Information Systems, among other publications. He has served as associate editor for MISQ and is currently senior editor for JAIS and associate editor for ISR and Information & Management.
Professor Guodong (Gordon) Gao

Guodong (Gordon) Gao is Professor in the Decision, Operations, and Information Technologies Department at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. He also serves as Co-Director of Center for Health Information and Decision Systems (CHIDS). He got his PhD degree in Information System and Economics from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania in 2005. His research interests include IT's impact on healthcare and innovation, and the transparency in service quality. His paper has been published at leading academic journals like Management Science, Information Systems Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Journal of Management Information Systems, and MIS Quarterly Executive. His research has won several grants and best paper awards, including the National Science Foundation's CAREER Award. He is associate editors of elite journals such as MISQ and Management Science.
Professor Xitong Guo

Xitong Guo is Professor and PhD Supervisor of Information Systems at the Harbin Institute of Technology. He is Executive Director of the Institute of Electronic Health. He received his PhD in Information Systems at the City University of Hong Kong and PhD in Management Science and Engineering at the University of Science and Technology of China. His current research focuses on electronic health, big data and business analytics. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including MISQ, Journal of Management Information Systems, ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems, Decisions Support Systems, and others. He got several grants, such as the National Natural Science Foundation's Key Project "Intelligent Health Information Service Management" (2016-2020). He was guest editors such as EM, ESWA, and JECR. He is also reviewers for elite journals such as MISQ, JMIS, etc. He was selected as a top-notch young talent in the National "Ten Thousand People Plan" in 2017.
